Steve is a veteran communications strategist and media producer, with a focus most recently on education policy advocacy in the U.S. and abroad. Co-founder of an award-winning political consulting company, he directed strategy and media production for clients in 18 states, has coordinated global campaigns and persuasion work and has led strategic communications trainings of CEOs, key staff and entire departments. He has led multimillion-dollar advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Steve has written speeches and outreach materials for the White House, members of the Cabinet and Congress, CEOs and key staff. He has helped leaders author articles in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Times Education Supplement (U.K.) and multiple print and online publications globally. A former communications director at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Clinton administration, he also worked as a daily newspaper reporter and as a committee investigator and policy and communications aide in the U.S. Senate.
